sound systems is a triptych series promoting a 9-artist electronic music festival separated into three parts across one weekend. night one reminisces on the history of electronic music as a whole; night two explores the boundaries (or lack thereof) of electronic music with a collaborative and multi-sensory approach; night three reinterprets the state of music production and the diverse possibilities for the future of music in our technologically evolving world.
the visual style of these prints intend to translate the motion, energy and sensations of electronic music through a static form. inspired by soundwaves, strobe lighting, and vague yet sensorially potent memories.
